Clayton Oxford Designs is a family-run business based in Durham, NC. Husband and wife, Clayton and Trish Oxford have designed and manufactured sustainable furniture in North Carolina since 2007. In this time, the couple has made their niche as an affordable supplier of high end wooden furniture defined by organic forms and clean lines. Custom dimensions, finishes, and a variety of wood species are available for all their designs.
Dedicated to seeking out only the best materials, Clayton and Trish hand pick their slabs from a variety of sustainable sources: the mountains of North Carolina, tree farms in Costa Rica, the dried-out swaps of Florida, and beyond. They collaborate with local metal artists, constantly creating fresh designs for table bases.
With the convenience of a new 19,000 square foot warehouse in downtown Durham, NC, Trish and Clayton are bringing it all back home. Forging new relationships with local suppliers and artisans, they have increased production in North Carolina while significantly decreasing lead times for custom orders. As a company and a community, Clayton Oxford Designs focuses on reducing waste and recycling materials to promote a global mission at a local level.
